Mr. Ollie L. Myrick, 80, from Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, heeding the Lord’s summons from his earthly labors to his heavenly reward.
Ollie was educated in local schools in Mississippi and graduated from high school in 1959. He was employed by Well Craft for 19 years before joining Waste Management of Bradenton, where he worked until retirement. In 1969, Ollie committed his life to the Lord and initiated his ministry with the support of Elder Bankston and Elder E.L. Marshall. A devoted man of faith, he continued his ministry overseas until his passing. Ollie Lee Myrick departed this life on April 7, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida.
He was predeceased by his wife, Christine Myrick; his son, Tony Myrick; his mother, Inell Myrick; his father, Sam Myrick; his sisters, Jinnie B. Myrick and Lillie B. Myrick; and his brothers, Willie Lee Myrick, Robert Lee Myrick, Sam Myrick, and Johnny B. Myrick.
He leaves behind cherished memories for:
– His sons: Sammie Myrick (Charlene), Danny Myrick (Jasmine), Theo Myrick, Christopher Myrick (Samara), and Ollie Myrick, Jr.;
– Daughters: Tammie Green, Brenda Wade (Charles), Irish Myrick, Celeste Evans, and Barbara Taylor;
– Brothers: Otis Myrick, Charlie Myrick, Frank James Myrick, Willie James Myrick, and LC Myrick;
– Friend/Sister: Rosa Davis-Lovell;
– 20 grandchildren;
– 11 great-grandchildren;
– Grandson: Frederick Lee Stewart;
– A multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sad I didn’t really get to build a tangible relationship with you. I know without a doubt all the good in you was passed down to your son, my father Sammie. And with us building our relationship I hope it makes me closer to you. I wear the last name Myrick proudly and I hope I can make you proud, just watch over me from time to time.
