Georgia Mae Moore, lovingly known as “Tut,” was born on November 26, 1950, in Clewiston, Florida, to Joe Lee Williams and Ietta Williams. After graduating from high school, Georgia pursued nursing education and became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA).
Georgia was renowned for her strong work ethic, which was highly esteemed by her peers, she was a mentor to many, often described as was a mentor to many, often described as kind, sweet, and a genuine treasure.
Georgia Mae Moore passed away in Sarasota, Florida, on July 7, 2024, moving on to her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ietta and Joe Lee Williams (Fannie), and her brothers, Willie, Claude, and Johnny “Bud” Williams.
She is survived by her loving family, leaving behind precious memories for:
– Sons: James Adams (Noy) and Raymon Brown III;
– Daughters: Cabrina Adams (Andre) and Natalie James (Otis);
– Grandchildren: Gabrielle Scurry, Thai Martin, Alexander Martin, Deonte James, and Patricia Adams;
– Bonus grandchild: Domeshai Wiggins;
– Great-grandchildren: Alexandria Martin, Thailan Martin, Alexander Martin Jr., Delvin Norton Jr., Alaiya Martin, Harper Robison, Myles Robison;
– Best friend: Larry Moore;
– Father of her children: James A. Adams;
– Family friend: Imogene James;
– And numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
