Mrs. Lisa Rose Ramos

Mrs. Lisa Rose Ramos passed away on July 18, 2024. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Chandler’s Funeral Home.

Lisa Rose Ramos was born on December 15, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Jimmy Gilliam and Judy Sharp. A Sarasota High School alumna, she worked at Sarasota Memorial for three years. Lisa dedicated her life to caring for and loving others, embodying strength and independence. She took great pride in the family she nurtured and was a true fighter, cherished deeply by the Ramos family.

She was predeceased by her father Jimmy Gilliam, stepfather Hoke Sharp, godchild Rilya Phelps, and brothers Christopher and Jose Ramos.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 37 years, Jesus Ramos; son Shawn Ramos (Shamica); daughters Kesha and Whitley Ramos; mother Judy Sharp; brothers Jimmy, John (Jen), Steven (Linda), and Michael (Irene) Gilliam; sister Molly Mills; and grandchildren: Sierra Williams (Brandon), Kenisha Turner, Shawn Ramos Jr., Kenith Turner Jr. (Jasmyne), Trayshawn Ramos, Shaunbrea Ramos, Sas Young, Jalaya Sorey, Bianca Ramos, Ra’shya Bryant, Rayshad Bryant, Isaialyah Edwards, Shawn Ramos III, Shiloh Ramos, Nayari Thomas, Trevoris Thomas, Isaiah Edwards IV, Tre’layja Thomas, Trevor Thomas, Kayomi Nembhard, and Rashad Bryant; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous beloved nieces and nephews (Gilliam and Ramos); Godchild: Cierra Jones
