Home Going Service will be November 1, 2025, 11:00am at Newtown Gospel Chapel 1815 Gillespie Ave Sarasota Fl. 34234. Ms. Lois born in Glenwood, Georgia. Graduated from Glenwood Georgia High School. Religious Affiliation Eternity Temple First Born Church – Pastor Lesa Livingston Ramos. She was an Usher and member of the Mt. Pilgrim Ushers Union as well as a Church Mother and Trustee. She was also an Order of the Eastern Star. Ms. Lois worked as a Short Order Cook at the Terrace Building and as a Certified Nurse’s Aide on Bird Key in Sarasota Fl. for the Elderly and the Terminally Ill.
She was the Wife of an Army Sargent First Class. Ms. Lois loved the Lord and her Family. She also loved the Showing Hospitality and was known for her Cakes and Sweet Potato Pies. Preceded in death by her Father: Silas Singleton, Mother: Alice Grant Singleton. 3-Brothers: Orzel Singleton, Fate Singleton, and Silas Singleton Jr.; 4-Sisters: Stella Turner, Ozella Spikes, Rose Litmon and Doris Hill. Her Husband: 1st Sgt. Walter L. Crummer. Daughter: Alice B. Crummer. She leaves to cherish her memory Daughter Mrs. Gloria Peterson (Willie), Granddaughter: Allyssa Peterson, Adopted Daughter: Elyse Chaplin. Aunt Angela Waters, Special Friends – Mother Annie Ola Gore and Mrs. Carl Stephens and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.

Dear Gloria, Willie, and Alyssa: I loved your mom. She was such a warm and wonderful woman. I was so proud that she called me her “adopted “.
