Mrs. Shirlean Denise Lowery (66) of Sarasota Passed from this Life to be with her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2026. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm on Friday February 13,2026 at Chandler’s Funeral Home 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way Sarasota, Fl. 34234. Home Going Service will be 1:00p.m. Saturday February 14, 2026, at Deliverance Miracle Revival Center 1562 N Lime Ave Sarasota, FL 34237.
Shirlean was born September 24,1959 in East Meadow New York. She went to Hempstead School system from Elementary School through High School. After Graduating at age 17 from High School Shirlean attended Wilson Technical School where she received her Nursing Assistance Certificate, within the Same Year at the age 17 that she Graduated from High School.
Shirlean’s Religious Affiliation: she was Born and Raised COGIC (Church of God in Christ), under Elder Joseph King at Kings Temple COGIC, where she attended Sunday School, Busy Bee’s & Sung in the Choir.
Mrs. Lowery along with her Husband Darerol received the Goodwill Honors “Good Family Award” for their accomplishments of becoming First Time Homeowners in 2002. Shirlean started working and caring for people as a Nursing Assist at 17 years old and worked until 2024.
Shirlean loved doing the Thanksgiving Drive feeding the Hungry and to make sure people were fed. Her love was a heart for the Homeless where she helped Countless people by giving them information to better themselves. She had a great love for Singing. She sang with various choirs and groups throughout various counties.
She was predeceased by her Father: John Henderson, Mother: Allean Henderson-Carpenter, Sister: Sheila Henderson.
Shirlean leaves to cherish her memory Husband Daryl Lowery of 23 yrs; Brothers: Theodore Carpenter (Marlene): Chalmers Carpenter; Sisters: Vallaire Arnold; Sheila Henderson; Sharon Henderson; Robin Henderson Brewster (William). and a Host of nieces & great niece and great nephews, cousins in laws and loving friends and brother-in-law.
