Ms. Dernice Spates (52) of Bradenton, Fl. Slept peacefully away into the arms of the Lord God. on June 12, 2026. Dernice Spates, affectionately known as “Nisey” to family and friends, was born on November 5, 1973, in Miami, Florida to Clarence Spates and Shaneon Glover.
She attended high school and was employed as a crew member for restaurants for 20 years. She loved dancing, talking and laughing. Dernice would tell the funniest stores and jokes. She had a love for cooking and partying with her family. Dernice was a Christian.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Spates and sister, Valerie Glover.
Treasured memories will be cherished by Her mother: Shaneon Glover.
Brothers: Marco Spates, Clarence Glover and Tommy Glover.
Sisters: Cassandra Spates, Ladoria Glover, Margarit Glover.
And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
