Mr. Tedrick Leverett (43) of Sarasota, Fl. Slept peacefully away to be with the Heavenly Father on July 14, 2026. Visitation will be 4pm-6pm Friday July 31, 2026, at Chandler’s Funeral Home 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way Sarasota, Fl. 34234. Homegoing Services will take place 10:00am at Palms Memorial Park.  170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Fl. 34232 Saturday August 1, 2026.

Tedrick Lanell Leverett, Sr. was born on August 1, 1982, in Sarasota, Florida to James Arthur Leverett and Julia Livingston Leverett. He was a graduate of Sarasota High School, Class of 2001. He was employed for twenty-one years in residential construction and contributed three years of caregiving responsibilities to his late father, James. Tedrick was a devoted man of faith who believed deeply in God. His unwavering trust in the Lord was reflected in his kindness, compassion and the love he so freely shared with others. Tedrick had a passion for football. He was a man of remarkable creativity whose portfolio of ideas reflected his innovative spirit, curiosity and passion for building and creating. He often expressed his love through cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.
Tedrick Lanell Leverett, Sr. departed this life on July 14, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Leverett, brothers, Zaniel Leverett, Sr. and Antoine Leverett, Sr., maternal grandparents, Julius Livingston, Jr. and Dorothy Gray, paternal grandparents, Zollie Leverett, Sr. and Mary Leverett, aunts, Darlene Gaines, Geneva Washington, Francis Oliver and Annie Davis, and uncles, Jimmy McDonald, Ocie Leverett, Zollie Leverett, Jr., Willie B. Leverett, James Henry Leverett, Jessie Lee Leverett, William Davis and Horace Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories…
