Roger Lee Shavers, Jr

Mr. Roger Lee Shavers, 73, of Bradenton, Florida transitioned on Sunday, November 12, 2023, Bradenton, Florida.  Visitation will be on Friday, December 1. 2023 from 5-7 PM at C. L. Chandler Memorial Chapel.

Rogers Lee Shavers, Jr., known to family and friends as “Tab”, was born on March 13, 1950, in St. Augustine, Florida to Rogers Lee Shavers, Sr. and Gracie May Poole.

Rogers was a graduate of Carver High School, Bunnell, Florida and was employed in the construction industry for 60 years, retiring in 2015.  Rogers loved to travel, cook, fishing, barbequing and gardening. He loved his family, but most of all, he loved his wife dearly.

Rogers is predeceased by his son, Rogers Lee Shavers, III, daughter,
Jennifer Shavers, parents, Rogers Lee Shavers, Sr. and Gracie May Poole,
brothers, Darnell Byrd, Adolphus Byrd, Wilber Shavers and Author
Shavers and sisters, Carrie Lee Poole and Lucretia Byrd.

* His wife of 17 years: Wanda Shavers;
* Daughters: Tonya Bennett and Dineka Davis;
* Sisters: Evelyn Leonard (Cleveland) and Shandra Farrior;

Joerico Camy, Brittney Camy, Kendrell Farrior, Alandria Belford,
Dylan Davis, Mylon Farrior, Jerimiah Farrior, Jayce Farrior, Kenny
