Mrs. Ruby Mae Bryant

Visitation services for Mrs. Bryant will be Friday, December 1, 2023, 5-7PM at Chandler’s Funeral Home.  A Home Going Celebration will be held at the Greater Hurst Chapel AME Church, 2730 N. Links Avenue, Sarasota, Florida on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11AM.  Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Florida.

Mrs. Ruby Mae Bryant, affectionately known to many as “Honey” was born on October 2, 1930, in Donaldsonville, Georgia to Fred and Willie Mae Rambo. Ruby attended the public schools and was a high school graduate. She was employed with Bayview Laundry Service. Ruby enjoyed reading her daily scriptures.

Ruby Mae Bryant transitioned from this earthly life on November 23, 2023, Sarasota, Florida.

Ruby is predeceased by her husband, Willie Bryant, daughters, Irene Coachman Watson, Dorothy Coachman Torres, parents, Fred and Willie Mae Rambo; brothers, Fred Rambo, Jr., Curlie C. Rambo, Earnest Davis and Walter Davis, Sr and sisters, Shirley Hamilton and Eberdine Mitchell.
