Burial Caskets
Caskets are made in a wide variety of metals. They can be made from 20 gauge, 18 gauge, 16 gauge, Stainless Steel, Copper, and Bronze. They can also be made of Hardwoods and include a variety of species: mahogany, walnut, cherry, maple, oak, pecan, poplar and pine. Caskets are the choice of families and usually reflect the personally and/or wish of your loved one.
Burial Vaults
Burial vaults are lined and sealed outer receptacles used in cemeteries for underground interment. In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so the grave will not sink in. Either a grave liner or burial vault will satisfy these requirements. Burial vaults provide the casket with lasting protection against subsoil elements such as ground water and the weight of heavy cemetery equipment.
Cremation Caskets
Cremation caskets are specially designed for cremation and can be used for the traditional cremation service, as well as a direct cremation. These caskets come in many different varieties (all wood or wood by products) and styles.
Cremation Urns
Regardless of your choice for final disposition of your loved one’s cremated remains, you will need to choose a couple different containers. The first is either a casket or specially designed container for the funeral visitation and transfer of your loved one to our crematory.
The second container is an Urn to hold the cremated remains. You have many elegant choices in wide-ranging styles and sizes constructed of solid-cast bronze, pewter, hardwoods, plastics, and other durable materials. You can also enhance the urn through personalization choices that distinguish your loved one’s cherished life.
Urns are permanent containers for the cremated remains. A wide range of prices appropriate for burial, niches, scattering, keepsakes or discreet placement in a home are available. Your personal plans for the final placement of the urn can play an important part in your selection process.
Cremation Urn Vaults
If you plan on ground burial for the urn, most cemeteries require it be placed in an urn vault. Lined urn vaults give urns varying levels of protection from subsoil elements and the weight of the earth and cemetery maintenance equipment. A lined urn vault is made of high-strength concrete and reinforced with durable plastic or a combination of durable plastic and metal (bronze, copper, or stainless steel).
