EMMA L. EDWARDS, 84, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on February 16, 2022. She was born on October 12, 1937, in Swainsboro, GA, to Emma Jackson and Moses Edwards. Church was her life and was recognized as Mother Emma Edwards. She was married for 47 years to the late John Edwards.
Precious memories of her life are left to three daughters: Cynthia Green, Mariah Dawes (Robert) and Zelloa Grimes; five sons: Eddie Lee Joyner, Herbert (Gloria) Randolph, Freddie Lewis, Jr., and Willie Jenkins (Veda); a sister, Myrtice McNeil; and a host of grandchildren, great-grands and great-great-grands.
Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2022, 6-8 p.m., at Chandler’s Funeral Home, 1425 Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Way, Sarasota, FL. Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, February 26, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Happy Gospel Church, 1915 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton, FL. Chandler’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
