My name is Peggy K. May I offer my deepest condolences to Christina’s family and friends. For several years, I have been a mutual friend of her Aunt Debbie K., although I only met Christina a couple of months ago.

I am so sorry about Christina’s sudden death. I was informed of her passing the following day, November 14, while I was in the hospital. I saw Christina just before her death on the evening of Monday, December 13, 2023.

In the short time I knew Christina, I could tell she was a special woman and well worth the investment. Christina told me more than once that she loved Jesus and read her Bible every day. She also made it clear that she loved her children. She called her sons the “Bois” and shared with me about her eldest.

My good friend, Jennifer, had grown close to Christina since she moved to Sarasota months before. Jennifer had introduced me to Christina in early October. Jennifer was with me that last Monday evening when we saw Christina.

The loving woman that she was, Christina gave Jenn and me a kiss before we parted that night. Her last words to me were, “I love you, Miss Peggy. I’ll call you.”

As I often share with others, “We are not promised tomorrow.” Tomorrow did not come for Christina, but we can find joy in her death, knowing that she is now home with Jesus where we all want to be when our time comes.

We love you, Christina, and we will meet again in glory. You will not be forgotten, sweet lady.

I have spoken with Christina’s Aunt Debbie; however, I welcome calls from any other family members. Please email me and I will provide my telephone number. Please know that anything Christina and I discussed is confidential but I would be happy to discuss the housing we discussed.

May our God of comfort be with you all in this time of grief. Special prayers for her children.
