Life service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 11:00 AM. Greater Hurst Chapel AME Church
2730 N Links Avenue, Sarasota, Florida. Interment will be held in Paulk Cemetery, Ocilla, Georgia.
Foster, the most devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather was well-loved and leaves a
legacy of family and friends. He leaves his lovely wife Jacquelyn Perry Paul of Sarasota, his sons
Thallon Paulk of Orlando, Florida and Foster Lezon Paulk of Thomasville, Georgia; his daughter
Thera Jean Paulk of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; his two granddaughters: Aliyah Joy Cunningham of
San Francisco, California, and Jaida Ashanti Cunningham, a student of the University of Connecticut;
two sister-in-law, Ruthie Be Strayhorn of Phenix City, Alabama, Ella Mae Brittingham of Wilmington,
Delaware; two brother-in-law, Miller Perry of Seale, Alabama and Jesse Perry of Alpharetta, Georgia;
and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations
be made to The Bridges to Educational Excellence Learning Center, BEE After-School Programs is a
cohesive and integrated learning process for community academically disadvantaged students. Your
presence and shared memories will be a cherished comfort during this time of remembrance.
