Preston B. Campbell, Jr., affectionately known to family and friends as “PJ”, was born on November 11, 1984, Sarasota, Florida to Preston Campbell, Sr. and Susan M. Campbell.
Preston was a graduate of Venice High School and was employed with Xfinity for three years. He loved playing football and basketball with his son and was a big Buccaneers fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Campbell, Sr., paternal grandparents, Mamie L. Campbell and Raymond Campbell, maternal grandparents, Mamie L. Rowell and Dan Nolan Rowell, and uncles Charlie Rowell and Lucious Asby.
Preston leaves to cherish his memory: His son: Amare Preston Campbell; Mother: Susan M. Campbell; Brothers: Shelton Burns, James Ammons and Michael Campbell; Sister: Anatashia Campbell; Uncle: Holden Gordon; Aunts: Carolyn Hornsby, Diane Gipson (Earl), Brenda Gordon and Mamie L. Taylor; Special relatives and friends: Charron Cain, Brandon Nelson, Mike Connery, Lyle Derby and Jim Reardon; And a host of other relatives and friends.

PJ was my best friend, no matter what he was always there for not just myself but my two older children, to my kids that was uncle PJ, PJ was the best dad I know his son never wanted for thing, he give that boy everything. My heart hurts for his whole family. My prayers are with you all.
