Travian Rashad Davis, 28, of Sarasota, Florida, transitioned to the afterlife at 8:00 AM on August 23, 2022, at his residence in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on December 16, 1993, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital to the late Carmen B. Davis and Leonard G. Buckley. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Homegoing Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Light of the World International Church, 3809 Chapel Drive, Sarasota, FL. Interment will be held at Galilee Cemetery.
Travian was a graduate of Booker High School. After graduating from Booker High School, he attended The State College of Florida. Upon finishing his time at SCF he begin a career as a rap artist with Spiritual brothers,(Swerv The Hooligan)Kervin Etienne, (Sid)Sidney Austin along with (Tre Godfella) Tre Davis, known as the rap group “iiiMPERIAL” was born. They quickly achieved notoriety, opening for renowned artists, KRS-ONE, Maxo Kream and Wu-Tang Clan. iiiMPERIAL presently has the album “iiiMPERIAL X STYLES” streaming on all major streaming platforms. Before his untimely ascension, they were currently working on their second album. The outpouring of support from their fans, family and friends has been phenomenal.
Travian was preceded in the afterlife by his Grandparents, Herman and Beatrice Davis and his mother, Carmen Davis, one great Uncle, James Ersken Rhoden, two beloved Aunties, Olivia Riley Alice Mcgriff. He is survived by his father, Leonard(Evelyn) Buckley of Jamaica, brothers, Joshua Welborn and Kervin Etienne of Sarasota, FL and Leonard Buckley Jr. of Palmetto, FL. Sisters, Kimberly Buckley, Ebony Tatum of Palmetto, Daniel Tatum and Kaydia Martin of Jamaica. Auntie Linda(Roy) Jones of Childersburg, AL, Virginia Shenol, Mavis Wilson and Etta Buckley of Jamaica. Uncles, Marlon(Tanya) Andrews, Bobby(Lynette) Davis of Sarasota, FL. Earl Buckley and Vania Buckley and Malachijah(Joyous) Buckley of Jamaica.
