Amy Lee Myrick was born on August 14, 1944, in Marlboro,South Carolina to Robert Jackson and Celestine Jackson.
Amy and her family moved to Sarasota, Florida, where she attended school and was a graduate of Sarasota High School,
Class of 1963. She was employed with Sarasota School Board of Transportation for 15 years. She received her license as a
Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) and was employed as a private duty CNA and also with East Manor Nursing Rehab
for 20 years.
In 1970, Amy gave her life to the Lord and she begin to minister in the missionary field, under the leadership of Elder
E. L. Marshall for many years. She was a true woman of God, even in her time of illness she kept the faith and continued to minister to her family and friends.
Amy Lee Myrick transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal home on January 19, 2024, Sarasota, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Celestine Jackson, father, Robert Jackson, sister Barbara Jean Stanford, son,
Tony Myrick, grandson, Joseph Evans and granddaughter, Shanavel Williams.
She leaves cherished memories to…
* Her sons: Danny Myrick, Theo Myrick, Ollie Myrick, Jr., Christopher Myrick (Samara) and Sammy Myrick (Charlene);
* Daughters: Barbara Taylor, Celestine Evans, Irish Myrick, Brenda Myrick Wade (Charles);
* Grandchildren: Frederick Stewart (Nicole), Cedrick Taylor, Melvin Burston, Shawnbri Williams and Aria Wade;
* 17 great grandchildren;
* Nephew: George Stanford;
* Nieces: Shirley Ann Stanford, Priscilla Allen, Karla Stanford and Shantia Peterson
* Cousin: Anthony Flowers;
* And a host of other relatives and friends.
