To the Family and Loved Ones of Deana “Quagee,”

I was deeply saddened to hear of Deana’s passing. She was my roommate and classmate during our freshman year at Bethune-Cookman College in 1985, and I will always remember her vibrant spirit, warm smile, and the laughter we shared. Though time and distance may have kept us apart over the years, her memory has always remained in my heart.

I just learned of her passing today, and had I known sooner, I would have attended her homegoing service to pay my respects in person. Please accept my sincere condolences. I am praying for strength, comfort, and peace for all who loved her.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Bethune-Cookman College Classmate, 1985
