Ms. Wendy Davis Walker

Wendy Walker Davis, 38, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on August 22, 2022. She was born on September 6, 1983, in Sarasota, Florida to the late William and Annie Davis. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Homegoing Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Truvine Missionary Baptist Church, 1947 31st Street, Sarasota, FL. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Wendy worked as a Resident Coordinator at Grand Villa of Sarasota. Wendy was a hard working person who loved and cherished her daughter more than anything.

Wendy was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her Daughter Mikeya Walker, Sisters Gloria Rainey and Yolanga Davis (June), Aunts Darlene Gains Julia Leverett, Henretta Washington, Barbara Evans, Betty Spencer, Dorothy Bowens, & Jacqueline Bowens, Uncles Harry Scott(Bertha) & Horrace Stevens. Nieces Naquine Edwards (Isaac)& Alexis Rainey, Nephews Alvito and Zorick Rainey and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Boyfriend Clifton Shipp & Best Friend Kenyahta Martin.
