Dr. Fannie M. McDugle (95) of Sarasota Fl. Slept away to the Heavenly Father on June 22,2026. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm July 10, 2026, at Chandler’s Funeral Home 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Dr. Fannie McDugle was born April 7, 1931, in Monroe, GA, to the late Steve and Blondeen Malcom. She graduated in 1950 from Holsey‑Cobb Institute in Cordele, GA. A lifelong believer, Fannie accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ in Bradenton, FL.

Fannie was a licensed cosmetologist for more than 50 years. Her passion for cosmetology led her to own and operate her own beauty salon, serving clients from Palmetto to Venice, FL. She was an active member of Theta Nu Sigma National Sorority, the Order of the Eastern Star, and Elks Lodge #175. She also served as Second Vice President of the Orange Blossom Cosmetologists Association, Inc.

She is survived by her daughters Pat Robinson Miller, Voncile McDugle (Deceased). Elizabeth McDugle Davis, and Shelia Palmore;

Sons: Larry Martin Sr. (Gladys), Alexander McDugle, and Gregory Buchanan;

Loving and devoted sister: Modeen Brown.

She also leaves behind goddaughters: Shelia Sanders Brown and Lois Johnson;

Grandchildren: Joseph (Ursler) Randall, Darryl Williams, Howronda Robinson, Howdrena (Keith) Cook, Tangela McDugle, Larry Martin Jr., Marquiesha Martin, Angela McDugle, Aisha Martin, and Barry Martin;

Host of great‑grandchildren, Great‑great‑grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. The family appreciates your prayers, memories, and support during this time.
