Daryl was born on October 21, 1985, in Tampa, Florida to Clifford Edward Peterson, Jr. and Maxine Robinson. He received his high school diploma and was employed for 7-Eleven Store and Twin Tree Trimming Service. Daryl enjoyed playing card games, gambling and was family oriented.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Edward Peterson, Jr., grandmothers, Vera Pearl Peterson and Lillie Mae Courtney and grandfathers, Clifford Edward Peterson, Sr. and Johnnie Robinson, Sr.

He leaves to Cherish his memory: His sons: Daryl Lamar Peterson, Jr., Kaiden Lamar Peterson, King Lamar Peterson and Takurian Popie Smith; Daughters: Akia Peterson and Skye Peterson; Mother: Maxine Robinson; Step-mom “Ma”: Theresa Peterson; Brothers: D’anthony Rashad Peterson, Alfredo Hudson, Jr., Zachary Bell, Isaiah Magwood, Israel Magwood and Deion Montgomery; Sisters: Jasmine Latrice Peterson, Veronica Peterson, Jamisha Peterson and Gia Bell; Nieces: Londynn Banks, Courtney Peterson; Nephews: Jamarion Peterson, Equanzic Howell, Jr. and Equanzic Howell III; Aunt:  Carol Jordan, Jennifer Weeks, Uncles: Uncle Richard and Uncle Jr.; Carolyn Bradley. And a host of aunts, uncles and cousins from Tampa.
