Lucius Lee Myrick Sr. (Sunny) born 12/1/1951 in Thomasville Georgia. Lucius started his High School career as a football player at Blake High School in Tampa Fl. but with the advancement in the civil rights in the late 60’s he finished his high school career at Robins High School where he was a star running back with hopes of being a professional, but fatherhood had a better plan. the Late 60’s. Lucius worked Security in the early 80’s for 20+years, for several different big name commercial stores including Montgomery Ward, AMC Theatre and the Desoto Mall to name a few. Lucius was a faithful lover of Christ and attended Church of Christ where he Taught bible Study and attend church regularly. He also had a great love for fishing something he enjoyed doing alone but mostly teaching his children.

Lucius leaves to cherish his memory: Daughter’s: Deborah McKenzie, Hasina Myrick; Brothers: William Myrick (Gwendolyn).; Richard Myrick. Sister’s Karen Smith (Chris Smith). Grandchildren: Aaliyah Henry, Jameire Hayes, Shamar Mobley, Ciara Mobley, Oznia Davis, Ocie Davis, Calvin Turner, Tracie Reese, Jacorey Davis. Great-grandchildren: Armani Davis, I’yonna Caldwell, Zyaire Bain, Zamya Campbell.  Stepson Bruce Nelomes, Sister-n-law: Vickie Myrick.

Lucius relatives that are predeceased: Mother: Katie Mae Scott; Grandmother: Carrie Hall; Auntie: Cina Mae Florence; Auntie: Mattie Lou Pondes; Twin Brother: Louis Myrick; Brother: Cliford Myrick; Son: Lucius Lee Myrick Jr.; Sister: Rolena Grandberry.
