Hosea Arnez “Tim” Davis was born on November 23, 1957, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Hosey Lee Davis and Lois G. Davis. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended the public schools of Jefferson County. In 1976, Tim proudly entered into the military and served in the United States Marines for 4 years before beginning a career in construction. He later worked at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, where he dedicated ten years of service prior to his retirement.

On March 19, 2026, Tim received his wings and peacefully transitioned from this life. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joyce Sanders; and his stepsister, Patricia McDonald.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mechaelle Hernandez Davis; sisters Lucy (Ernest) Mills, Jacqueline Davis Oden, Valerie Davis Clark, Linda (Fred) Colston, and Sandra (John) Battle; brother Tony (Linda) Davis; brothers-in-law Victor Townsend and Derick Townsend; his beloved niece, Sierra Woods; aunts Carrie Jasper, Lucy Conley, Dorothy Davis, and Rose Davis; special friends Walter Watts and Phillip Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
