Howard was born in Atlanta Georgia, February 10, 1946. He would always inform you in Grady Hospital. We lived right down the street from Dr. Martin Luther King. At thirteen years of age, he came to Sarasota Fl. only to go back to Atlanta for visits. He graduated from Booker High School in the class of 1964. He played Baseball and Basketball. After Graduation he continued playing Baseball, Softball, Darts and Bowling. Howard enjoyed entertaining others and was extremely comical. Howard was extremely supportive of his Son and Grand Son’s in Sports. He would always attend the Sarasota Boat racing yearly with his nephew Shedrick Greg Stephens. Howard loved his family and had a very caring and loving Sister-in-law Sheila Johnson.
Howard is Preceded in Death by his Father: Willie James Thomas Jr., Mother: Lottie Whitfield (Miss Pat). Howard leaves to Cherish his Memory his Wife of 49yrs. Shirley Thomas; Ted Seymour, Howard Bryan Thomas (Ashley); Vanessa Debose (Brian); Stephanie Thomas; Carla Thomas Boston (Marc). Mother-in-law: Iva Bryant. Brother-in-law Fred Bryant Jr. Sister-in-laws: Sheila Johnson, Cheryl Bryant. Grandchildren: Joshua Thomas, Jacoby Thomas, Cary Campbell, Teddie Seymour, Jonnescia Ford, Madisyn Boston. Great Grandchildren: Cairo Campbell, Kinsley Campbell. And a Host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.
