Mr. Willie Brown II (69) of Sarasota Fl. Willie Brown, Jr., affectionately known as “Lil Willie” to his family and friends, was born on October 27, 1956, in Sarasota, Florida to Willie Brown, Sr. and Vera Mae Brown.
Willie was a graduate of Sarasota High School and worked for Morrison’s Cafeteria and the City of Sarasota for many years. He served in the United States Army Reserves.

He served as a Deacon at Living Hope Church under the leadership of Pastor Ruby Robinson and Overseer Gilbert Robinson. Willie was a humble and faithful member of his church. He was always willing to help others in need. Whether it was doing handywork, giving a ride, or serving in the church. No matter what the circumstances, he never complained and always said yes to helping with a smile on his face.

Willie Brown, Jr. departed this life on June 28, 2026, St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Brown, Sr. and Vera Mae Brown, sisters, Debra A. Brown, Sheila Brown, Clara Williams and Dorothy Quinn, brothers, Mike Brown and Darrington Brown and grandmother, Cora Lee Day.
