Mrs. Jeanette E. Jones

Mrs. Jeanette E. Jones, 83 of Sarasota, FL transitioned from labor to reward on September 22, 2026.  Visitation will take place Friday, September 4, 2026, 6-8PM at Chandler’s Funeral Home.  Mrs. Jones’ homegoing service will be on Saturday, September 5, 2026, 11:00 AM at Greater Hurst Chapel A. M. E. Church, located at 2730 N Links Ave., Sarasota, FL 34234.

Mrs. Jeanette E. Jones was God fearing, faithful, loving the Lord with all her heart as well as her family.  She was active in the African Methodist Episcopal Church for many years.  In addition to beholding the joy of the Lord, she also found joy in various activities, such as cooking, reading and watching her various favorite shows and spending time with her loved ones.

Mrs. Jones departed this life leaving precious memories with her husband of 51 years, Mr. Ervin L. Jones, her children: Thomas Woodard (Cheryl E. Woodard) and Elizabeth Moreland; Grandchildren: Omar J. Woodard and Kenya A. Woodard, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will continue to cherish her memories.
