Ms. Cheryl L. Douglas, 63 of Sarasota, FL was called from labor to reward by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Visitation will take place Friday, February 6, 2026, from 6-8PM at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM at C. L. Chandler Memorial Chapel. Being born in Sarasota, FL, Cheryl leaves to cherish loving memories with her Son, Matthew Douglas, (2) Daughters, Whitney Douglas and Kimberly Douglas; Mother, Ina Mae Black; Brothers, Robert “Dexter” Black, Jr., and Mark Black (Clara); (2) Sisters, Robertnette Black and Dana Black-Boyd (Derrik); Grandchildren, Elijah Evans, Nevaeh Douglas, Jayla Douglas, Leah Douglas, Averi Douglas, Noah Douglas, Matthew “MJ” Douglas, and Monica Villegas, a host of nieces, cousins, and childhood friends who will always love her and will miss her physical presence.
