Ms. Jacquelyne Pompey (61) of Sarasota Fl. Departed from life to the Heavenly Father on August 5, 2026, Visitation will be 6pm-8m Friday August 21, 2026. at Chandler’s Funeral Home 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Sarasota, Fl. 34234. Celebration of Life will be 1:00pm Saturday August 22, 2026, at Bethlehem Bible Church 1680 18th St. Sarasota, Fl. 34234.

Jackie was born to Alfred and Cleoma Pompey on November 8, 1964, in Sarasota, Florida. She transitioned into eternal life on August 5, 2026.

She attended Sarasota County Schools and was a proud graduate of New Directions.

Jackie deeply cherished her son, grandchildren, family, and friends. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and the love she had for them was undeniable.

To her nieces, Aunt Jackie was their ultimate “hype man.” She encouraged them and always made them feel special. Jackie never met a stranger. She welcomed people with open arms, and her beautiful smile and outgoing personality could light up any room. Jackie will be remembered for the joy she brought, the love she gave, and the unforgettable memories she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Pompey and her mother, Cleoma Hunter.
