Linda Diane Howard (Tootsie) was born in Sarasota Florida November 11, 1965. To Father: Mr. Dewey Howard, Mother: Flossie Mae Howard. Linda was a Graduate of Booker High School where she ran Track & played Basketball. Linda was one of nine children born. Linda was well known in Sarasota as Ms. Tootsie. She was a pillar to the Newtown Community, running a neighborhood candy store, being a caregiver to so many and a Mother figure to lots of kids that crossed her doorstep. Ms. Tootsie was mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a beloved friend. she spent her life bringing warmth, laughter and light to everyone she met.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories; Son’s Rolando Robinson, Alexander Howard. Daughter’s: Latoya Robinson, Lanarria Howard, Ariana Phillips. Brothers: Dewey Howard, Gerome Howard. Sister’s; Sarah Howard, Laura Howard, Donna Millette. Laura Perkins (Sister in Law), Kristen Howard (Sister in Law).

Linda was predeceased by her family members: Mother: Flossie Mae Howard; Father Dewey Howard; Brothers: Henry Howard, Jimmie Lee Howard. Sisters: Mary Robinson, Shannon Howard. Grandmother: Lillie Mae Dixon. Nephews: Frankie Lee Robinson, Willie Howard. Nieces: Ashley Howard, Angel Wardell.
